A Brief Timeline
2017
Inception of Phoenix Transformations
In response to the opioid crisis in British Columbia, Dr. Harris established Phoenix Transformations in Duncan to provide comprehensive care for opioid dependency and co-occurring mental health conditions. While continuing his family practice, he helped over 250 patients regain stability and thrive through dedicated treatment and support.
2024
Expanding Services
To better support patients committed to recovery, the clinic relocated to Cobble Hill. Recognizing the need for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in the Cowichan Valley, Dr. Harris expanded services to include this innovative, non-invasive treatment for mental health conditions, further enhancing patient care options.
2025
Launching Magnetic Potential
Dr. Harris earned clinical certification in TMS from Maastricht University and advanced training at Harvard University. With the installation of a Magstim Horizon 3.0 system, Magnetic Potential officially launched on February 10, 2025, offering cutting-edge TMS therapy to help individuals achieve lasting mental wellness.
How It Works
Understanding Our Approach
The first step at Magnetic Potential is to book a consultation with our technician, who can answer any questions and help you explore if TMS is the right fit. The technician will then book you for an intake appointment with Dr. Harris, where he does an assessment and comes up with a treatment plan.
When you visit Magnetic Potential, we start with a personalized assessment to understand your unique needs. Your treatment plan includes non-invasive TMS therapy, using gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate brain areas linked to mood regulation. With ongoing monitoring and support, we help you achieve lasting balance and well-being.
